‘Summer Revue’

This is a fast moving variety show of music and sketches, this year with a 'film' theme.

Rehearsals start 11th March
with an introduction and sing-through of some of the material.

Auditions are provisionally dated Sunday 28th March and Tuesday 30th March.

If you have been thinking of joining us, it’s a great way of dipping your toes into see how you enjoy it.
Contact Pen at pen@pensnest.co.uk (01442 401746) or Sue at sue.aplin@btopenworld.com   (01442 863864) for more details or simply turn up at 7.45pm on the 11th.

Some of the content is expected to be:

Songs from James Bond, Mack & Mabel, Abba, Grease plus lots of others
Razzle Dazzle from Chicago
Hernando's Hideaway

Sketches range from a few seconds to several minutes, one with no dialogue for the actors (so how easy is that for a beginner?)

‘The Full Monty’

Next summer, 2011, we hope to put on 'The Full Monty'.

The stage version is set in America among steel workers and we will be looking for an authentic cast.

If you are interested or know someone who might fit the bill - especially for the man who sings the memorable 'Big Black Man' contact Pen or Sue.

Keep checking here for further details.
